Connie is a noted expert in mind-body health and energy medicine, and she has been practicing and teaching in this field since 1984.  She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, a gifted Reflexologist, a massage therapist, and an authorized practitioner of the ancient healing arts of Hawaii.  Connie is a speaker and educator, and she has presented training programs across the U.S.A. and in Europe.

In 2005, Connie and husband Rick Vrenios had the privilege of being guest lecturers at Northwestern Medical School on the subject of energy medicine and its therapeutic value on mind-body health.  

Connie and Rick also co-authored the upcoming Chakra Wisdom:  The Psychology of Energy being published by Red Wheel/Weiser Publishing in Spring 2006.

As a practitioner, her clients have included major corporations, including General Mills, Esquire Magazine, and others.  In addition, she has worked with elite professional athletes, world-class dancers, internationally renowned healers, and members of two royal families. 

Connie and Rick co-founded the Reiki Council, a multifaceted organization that serves as a membership organization, education provider, and publisher.  Together, they also co-founded Ke Ala Kahiko ("The Ancient Path") - an organization dedicated to preserving the cultural, spiritual, and healing traditions of ancient Hawai'i.
